Wellington, FL– March 28, 2016 – Nick Granat provides course design services for show jumping events and private clients. Granat is a horseman, rider and licensed “R” United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) course designer and the youngest member of North American Riders Group (NARG) approved course designer list.
The Winter Equestrian Festival starts in January, and a handful of course designers are already hard at work, carefully creating jumping courses for each class. There are 13 rings, and each course designer gets a different ring each week. Designing courses is a delicate balance between making the sport challenging, and unintentionally making it dangerous.
Nick Granat’s trademark smile and wry sense of humor have become a fixture at some of North America’s top show-jumping events. The up-and-coming course designer is mak-ing his mark on the sport with his own sense of creativity and feel for the flow and rhythm of a horse on the track.

Traverse City, Mich. – July 15, 2016 – It is no secret that weeks, and even years, of preparation can go into a junior rider’s winning equitation round. The situation was a little different for Summer Hill, however, as she and her catch ride, C’est Blue, had only been working together for a few weeks. Nonetheless, Hill proved her skills in the ring, ultimately earning the win in the USEF Platinum Performance Show Jumping Talent Search at the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival.
